Ichia Technologies Inc. was founded in 1983 based in Taiwan, with world-class reputation and over 20 years' professional experience in manufacturing of conductive rubber keypads, plastic injected parts (single/double-shot) and custom keyboard assemblies. In 2001, Ichia has further diversified into flexible printed circuit board ("FPC") with high density circuitry business. By end of 2004, Ichia has approximately 6,000 employees worldwide and has been awarded ISO 9002, ISO 14001 and QS 9001 certification.
On consideration of global logistics, Ichia has built six production facilities worldwide, i.e. Taiwan , China, Malaysia and Mexico . Moreover, 280,000 square feet of R&D and new production introduction ("NPI") center in Taiwan was newly built in 2000 dedicating in developing new technologies for worldwide technical support to continuously extend our production capability to offer products with high quality, on-time delivery and competitive cost. Our capability has been fully recognized by our customers, such as AUO, Avaya, Alcatel, Arima, Benq, Compal, Motorola, Nokia , Nortel, Robert Bosch, RIM, Sony Ericsson, Sharp.... etc. in the fields of telecommunication, computing, consumer electronics and automotive industries.
In order to strengthen Ichia competitive edge in the long term, over the years, Ichia has been moving toward to build integrated components modularizing solutions, and to further capture cross-selling opportunities through leveraging broadening customers' base. We are now able to supply new products of Metal Dome, FIP (Film-in-Plastic) keymats, IML (In-Mold Labeling) Lens/Housing, Two-Shot Housing, Flexible Printed Circuit Board and Magnesium Alloy Casing. Ichia is always making utmost efforts to offer advanced technologies, manufacturing processes and professional services to clients and has been highly commended as one of global leading component suppliers.
